Calling for inspection

Appliances are installed! The faucet and soap dispenser are installed! Chalkboard paint is on! They painted the office for us! Now we wait on the city for final inspection.....................

Countertops!

Countertops are in!

They're actually very level. 

Hood in the hood

Our range hood is in. So is most of the trim and the final base cabinets. Measuring for the countertops will be Monday or Tuesday.

Progress

Some of the cabinets have been installed. Some wood floor has been laid. The appliances have been delivered. Progress.

Tiled

Tile is down. Should be grouted tomorrow with cabinets coming later this week.

Drywall hung and sanded

Drywall has been hung and sanded- and some painting too!

Below that window is where the old sink was. It will have the new oven and cabinets soon.

The new refrigerator will go over there on the left along with some base and upper cabinets.

Demo complete

Demolition is complete. Wall framing is about done. New beam is to be hung next week. Electrical and plumbing next week too. Fun times.

Contractor Hired/In for Permit

Been a while, but we have some news to share: We've hired our contractor and have submitted drawings to the city for permitting. Hopefully we'll have the permit soon and begin demolition.
